In 2024 we taught year 3 to year 6 and we increased in 2025 as we taught year 1 all the way to year 6. 100% of children tracked progress in both years and improved. We have had feedback from both the headteacher and children of the school.
“we were pleasantly surprised with how the pool is set up, also saw all the improvements from all different year groups with their strokes. The results are fabulous we had levels of swimming go up, it has been a very smooth process with getting the pool up and running. It works out most cost effective then going to the local pool as the children are getting 30 minutes swimming time instead of 10 in a half an hour lesson. Also smaller classes so that it makes the lesson more intense and personal.”
Here is a interview that we had with Woodsides headteacher Jen Ryder.

90.7% of year 1 are duckling 3 and above
Year 2
52% of year 2 can swim unaided by the end of 2025 as well as 35% swimming 10 meters and more.
